Pete M. Spurlock, Sr.
Pete M. Spurlock, Sr., 76, of Lake City, passed away on Thursday evening, February 4, 2021 at the Solaris Healthcare in Lake City after a sudden illness. He was born in Tallahassee, FL, on August 8, 1944 to the late Louie Frank Spurlock and Lucille Wallace Spurlock. He has made Lake City his home since the mid 1970’s, moving here from Tallahassee.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joyce N. Spurlock of Lake City; sons, Pete Spurlock, Jr. (Melissa) of Lake City and Mike Spurlock (Kim) of Glen St. Mary; daughters, Michelle McCoy (Leon) of Hernando and Christy Weaver (Patrick) of Lake City; brother, James Spurlock of Carey, NC. Twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild along with numerous nieces and nephews also survive.. ... more
