Karen Grimes Hartsfield
Karen Grimes Hartsfield was born Oct. 28, 1944, in Tallahassee, Fla., to Joy and Jessie Robinson Grimes. She married Ardis Hartsfield on Oct. 14, 1967, in Tallahassee.
She worked as a nurse. Resided in Eugene, OR
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Patrick and Michael, both of Springfield; two brothers, Charles Grimes of Phenix City, Ala., and Jay Grimes Jr. of Cottondale, Fla.; a sister, Ramona Russell of Marianna, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012 at New Life Church in Springfield for Karen Hartsfield of Eugene, who died Aug. 25, 2012 of cancer. She was 67. Visitation will be at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield.
