HAVANA- Amy Jean Barineau Kemp of Havana, FL. passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Leon Ebenezer Baptist Church in Tallahassee with Pastor Ronnie Combass and Dr. Eric Erskine officiating. Internment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs Kemp was born in Tallahassee, FL, the daughter of late George W. Barineau, Sr. and the late Jean Hawkins Barineau. She married Gary Kemp on June 30, 1972 . Mrs Kemp was employed and retired from The Secretary of State of Florida's Office. She was a lifetime member of Leon Ebenezer Baptist Church, she was the church piano player for 59 years.

She loved, and was very close to all of her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Gary Kemp of Havana; two brothers George (Billy) W. Barineau, Jr. of Tallahassee and Buddy Barineau of Bainbridge, GA, also her brother-in-law George Kemp of Havana. and many nieces and nephews.
