Dennis Vern Law, 67, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at his home in Tallahassee.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, EST, Wednesday, February 13th at Bevis Funeral Home of Tallahassee (850/385-2193 or www.bevisfh.com). Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
A lifelong resident of Tallahassee, Mr. Law was retired as a supervisor with the City of Tallahassee Parks and Recreation Department and was also associated with his family's Capital Nursery and Landscaping. He was a member of Soul's Port Church.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Dennis Law and Troy Alan Law, both of Tallahassee; his sister Wanda Law Williams of Atlanta; four grandchildren, Jessica Lauren Law, Amie Deniese Law, Cody Dennis Law and Kennah Robertson; and one great-grandchild, Layla Michelle Walker.
Mr. Law was preceded in death in 1969 by his father William Marvin Law; in May, 2012 by his mother Verna Law Leckinger; in 1989 by his brother Terry; and in 1999 by his brother Cody.
